Snoopy overcame abandonment and deserves to stay healthy.
Found on the street as a tiny puppy, Snoopy was starving, terribly weak, and carrying a huge open wound on his head. Today he is a calm, loving little lord who still needs specific food and ongoing care to stay healthy.
What happened
Snoopy was found abandoned on the street when he was only about three months old. He was desperately thin, malnourished, weak, and almost nothing but skin and bones. What shocked us most was a huge wound on his head. It stayed constantly open, bled a lot, attracted flies, and kept getting worse because he scratched it without stopping until the tissue was raw. At the time, there was no money for expensive medicine or proper veterinary treatment, so care began in an improvised way, with patience and great tenderness, just to relieve the wound and stop it from getting even worse. Little by little, Snoopy survived. The wound began to improve, and he slowly regained strength, even though he ate very little and could barely walk. To this day, Snoopy still carries trauma from abandonment: he is very afraid of cars, of riding in a car, and even of brooms. We suspect he may have been thrown out of a vehicle. Even after all of that, Snoopy became an incredibly calm, loving, gentle companion. He is a true little lord who wins people over with quiet sweetness.
Diagnosis or urgent need
Snoopy survived a massive head wound, extreme malnutrition, and severe weakness. Today the urgent need is not the old wound itself, but maintaining his health with regular veterinary follow-up and the right food for his sensitive digestion and selective eating.
Treatment plan
Snoopy now needs specific food, digestive-friendly diets, preventive exams, veterinary follow-up, and long-term care that keeps his health stable. Supporting Snoopy means helping this gentle little lord continue living with comfort, safety, and affection.
